EV Powertrain & Performance
All Celestiq models will come with a single engine option: an electric dual-motor all-wheel drive powertrain estimated to produce 600 hp. Preliminary acceleration from 0 to 60mph has been given at 3.8 seconds. While excellent, this is well in the range of other luxury EV models. Cadillac has decided to focus more on comfort and driver experience vs pure power with the Celestiq. Several of the leaked features such as adaptive air suspension, and rear-wheel steering support this hypothesis.
Range & Battery Life
Cadillac has announced that the Celestiq will utilize GM's Ultium Battery technology. Preliminary reports give an estimated range of around 300 miles per charge. The Celestiq will be able to use DC fast charging and Cadillac says a 200kW connection will grant 78 miles of range in 10 minutes.
Interior & Storage
The Celestiq's dashboard easily takes main stage with a massive 55-inch screen. Attention to details abounds throughout the cabin. High quality leather covers of the cabin, with metal trim and ecologically-sourced wood accents throughout. Cupholders and cubbies are lined with suede. Everything will be made to order and customers will have the ability to customize the look and feel to their desires. Four bucket seats will provide a first class experience to driver, and passenger alike. Each one offering heating, ventilation, neck-warming, recline, massage, and plenty of personal space to whomever is lucky enough to find riding within. The roof is made from an electrochomic glass material that can be adjusted from transparent to opaque, further enhancing the experience.

Technology & Infortainment
The main driver infotainment panel spans the entire width of the dashboard, offering 55 inches of gorgeous real estate. Each rear seat comes with it's own 12.6 inch display that can be used to stream entertainment, browse the internet, or control the stereo system. The sound system is powered by a 38-speaker AKG studio reference with three amplifies and support for 3D surround sound.
Commission Your One-Of-A-Kind Masterpiece
As befitting it's ultra-luxury status and price, purchasers will have the ability to fully customize their own bespoke Celestiq. Once commissioned, the buyer will be put in contact with their own GM designer. They can elect to visit them in Michigan to go over color swatches and ideas, or have the designer travel to them. Each car will be hand built according to your specifications with unprecedented control over colors and patterns. GM says the whole design and fabrication process could take up to 10 months to finalize and complete.
